Blenong is a made-up word our family used when we were kids, which is a general expression for anything that we can’t think of how to describe. Like when something is funny, we say, “Hahaha, ang blenong!” (It’s blenong) or if something is unusual, “Ang blenong naman nito!” (This is blenong). And even when something drives us completely crazy, “Ugh, BLENONG!!!”. The expression is so embedded in our roots, we still use it today. So we decided to use the same word to call this project, because we couldn’t think of how to best describe what it is all about.
